The Ontario Food Terminal Board, its warehouse and farmer tenants would like to thank everyone who took the time during the past open house event to explore the Ontario Food Terminal. At this one-time event, the public was able to have the opportunity to look, understand and appreciate the inner workings of this wholesale distribution centre and its significance it has to the people of Ontario since 1954.
The Terminal provides an outlet for Ontario Farmers and warehouse tenants to sell an enormous variety of produce on a wholesale basis and is a vital source of fresh fruits, vegetables and horticultural products to the independent grocers, supermarkets, restaurants, foodservice, farmer markets, farm gate markets, convenience stores, florists, garden centres, landscapers and institutions.
We encourage those who took the time to visit us to support those businesses that purchase their fresh fruits, vegetables and horticultural products from the Ontario Food Terminal.
